Drag is art used as self-expression and a celebration of queerness. Drag is a gender-bending art form in which a person dresses in clothing and makeup to exaggerate a specific gender identity. There are drag kings, drag queens, drag creatures, etc. The art form is boundless.
A drag queen, for example, dresses in exaggeratedly feminine clothing and often wears heavy makeup and accessories to entertain others. Drag artists typically perform in clubs, bars, and other venues, and their performances often involve lip-syncing, dancing, and comedy.
Drag is an art form with rich history and cultural significance, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community. Many drag artists use their performances to express their gender identity, explore their creativity, and challenge societal norms and expectations.
