Make-Up Artist
Responsible for transforming participants into their signature drag looks, bringing their unique vision to life through expert makeup application. In this role, the artist works one-on-one with participants, applying professional-level techniques to create a finished look that reflects the participant’s personal style and artistic identity.
In addition to makeup application, the artist engages in reflective conversations with a program facilitator to discuss their creative process, decision-making, and approach to drag artistry. This dialogue supports both participant learning and program documentation, highlighting techniques, challenges, and artistic choices.
The ideal candidate is a skilled and creative makeup professional with experience in drag or theatrical makeup. They are attentive, patient, and collaborative, capable of fostering a supportive and empowering environment for participants while delivering a polished, signature look. Strong communication skills and a passion for mentorship and storytelling through makeup are essential.
