In addition to makeup application, the artist engages in reflective conversations with a program facilitator to discuss their creative process, decision-making, and approach to drag artistry. This dialogue supports both participant learning and program documentation, highlighting techniques, challenges, and artistic choices.

The ideal candidate is a skilled and creative makeup professional with experience in drag or theatrical makeup. They are attentive, patient, and collaborative, capable of fostering a supportive and empowering environment for participants while delivering a polished, signature look. Strong communication skills and a passion for mentorship and storytelling through makeup are essential.

The Drag Storytime Storyteller is an engaging performer responsible for leading a 60-minute interactive show for children. This role involves reading stories aloud with energy, expression, and flair, and incorporating songs, movement, and audience participation to create a magical, memorable experience.

The Storyteller fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel safe, entertained, and inspired. They use storytelling and music to spark imagination, celebrate diversity, and introduce young audiences to creativity, self-expression, and the joy of performance.

Drag is Art The Drag Is Art Make-Up Artist is a dynamic facilitator and performer responsible for leading engaging, hands-on makeup workshops within the Drag Is Art program. This role centers on guiding a small group of participants through a live, step-by-step drag makeup tutorial, where participants actively follow along and recreate the look in real time. 

This role requires strong communication skills, experience in drag or theatrical makeup, and the ability to engage participants in an interactive, affirming learning environment. The ideal candidate is both a skilled artist and an empathetic facilitator who is passionate about using makeup as a tool for self-expression, empowerment, and storytelling.
