OUR STORY
Born in 2020, right in the heart of the pandemic, Drag Academy was created to give drag a stage to shine when the world went dark.
When the bars closed, we opened the curtains online! What started as a few fierce drag classes quickly turned into a full-blown movement celebrating artistry, confidence, and community.
From those early Zoom stages to dazzling real-world events, Drag Academy has grown into a vibrant platform connecting performers, fans, and educators across borders. We’ve worked with some of the fiercest queens and kings across Canada, the USA, and Mexico, including legends like Raja O’Hara, Priyanka, Detox, Miz Cracker, and stars from Drag Race Mexico, Drag Race Canada, Canada vs. The World, Drag Race All Stars, La Más Draga, Call Me Mother, and Dragula.
Our Gag-Worthy Milestones

Today, Drag Academy is more than a platform-it’s a movement. We’re here to educate, entertain, and empower through the magic of drag. Whether you’re a student, a performer, or a fan, you’re part of this global family.

OUR SHIELD
The emblem of Drag Academy features a regal crown symbolizing success and achievement. A watchful eye pays homage to our founding house, Haus of Decadence, acknowledging our artistic roots. A book represents our commitment to education and academic excellence. Bees within the shield embody creativity, efficiency, and industry, reflecting the collaborative spirit of our dynamic community. Together, these elements create a powerful emblem that encapsulates the values and aspirations of Drag Academy.
