Welcome to the Foundations of Drag Workshop, an 8-week virtual program designed to empower aspiring drag queens with the essential skills needed to craft captivating personas. Each week, guided by industry experts, participants will explore key facets of the dynamic world of drag. Week 1: Foundation & Contour - Dive into the basics of drag makeup, learning foundation selection, application, and contouring techniques. - Live demonstrations by professional makeup artists, followed by hands-on practice for real-time feedback. Week 2: Eyes - Master the art of creating bold and expressive eyes, including eyeshadow blending, eyeliner application, and false eyelash placement. - Live demonstrations and hands-on practice sessions led by makeup artists. Week 3: Lips - Delve into the world of bold and defined lip artistry, covering lip lining, lipstick application, and lip gloss techniques. - Live demonstrations and hands-on practice sessions facilitated by industry experts. Week 4: Wig Styling - Explore various wig types and styling techniques, from creating volume to styling curls. - Live demonstrations and hands-on practice sessions with guidance from a wig styling expert. Week 5: Body Shaping - Learn secrets to achieving a feminine silhouette through corsets and padding. - Live demonstrations and personalized guidance on body shaping techniques. Week 6: Costume and Styling - Explore drag fashion, including costume selection and styling tips. - Live demonstrations and interactive exercises to refine participants' styling skills. Week 7: Basics of Performances - Introduction to the fundamentals of drag performance, covering movement, expression, and stage presence. - Live demonstrations, interactive exercises, and guidance from seasoned drag performers. Week 8: Presence - Culmination of the workshop with a focus on enhancing overall stage presence and artistic expression. - Live demonstrations, interactive exercises, and a Q&A session with a seasoned drag performer.

Cancellation Policy

At MODASE Inc. Drag Academy, we strive to curate memorable experiences for our clients during special events. To ensure the seamless orchestration of these occasions, we have formulated a cancellation policy that aligns with our commitment to deliver exceptional services while managing reservations efficiently. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and thus, we've outlined the following guidelines to provide clarity on cancellation terms and procedures for our special event bookings. 1. Cancellation Timeframes: - More than 4 Weeks Before Event Date: 15% Administrative Fee - Between 2 Weeks and 4 Weeks Before Event Date: 50% of Total Booking Fee - Within 2 Weeks Before Event Date: No Refund 2. Refunds: - More than 4 Weeks Before Event Date: 85% Refund of Total Booking Fee - Between 2 Weeks and 4 Weeks Before Event Date: 50% Refund of Total Booking Fee - Within 2 Weeks Before Event Date: No Refund 3. Cancellation Process: - Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to daven@dracacademy.ca with the booking details. 4. Exceptions: - In case of extenuating circumstances, MODASE Inc. reserves the right to review and consider cancellation fee waivers or partial refunds on a case-by-case basis. 5. Rescheduling: - Clients may request to reschedule their booking based on availability without incurring additional cancellation fees. The rescheduled event date must be within 6 months of the original booking date. 6. No Shows: - Failure to attend the event without prior notice will result in the forfeiture of the entire booking fee with no option for a refund or rescheduling. By proceeding with the booking, clients acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this cancellation policy.
