Executive Assistant

Drag is an art form that is founded in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. It is a theatrical art form that embodies self-expression, joy, and acceptance. It is connected to politics, sexuality, gender, race, and religion. 


The Drag Academy is a project of The Concerned Kids. The Academy is designed to elevate Drag as an art form. Professional drag performers share their expertise in immersive classes. The classes are designed for those with zero experience with Drag to those who have been in the industry for years. The classes include all elements for performances from theatrical make-up, costume design, hair design to character development, comedy writing, stage presence, and improv.


Reporting to the Executive Director the Executive Assistant will be responsible for all aspects of TCK social media presence.



  • Provide strategic executive support to the Executive Director and assist with the overall coordination and administration of the Executive Director’s office.

  • Work closely with the Executive Director and Board Chair, and act as the key link between TCK’s senior management team, Board of Directors, and Voting Members.

  • Prepare Board reports and manage Board processes. 

  • Manage calendar scheduling and working with internal/external stakeholders to coordinate meetings across calendars and ensuring optimal use of Executive Director’s time

  • Assist with fund development including grant writing, individual giving strategies, and corporate giving.

  • Manage internal projects and provide support to key TCK initiatives as assigned by the Executive Director.

  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion skills, managing highly confidential and sensitive matters.

  • Strong ability to think independently and make decisions to direct and action appropriate next steps.

  • Ability to interact positively with various levels within the entire organization.
