Bollywood Monster Mashup

In 2021, Drag Academy and Bollywood Monster Mashup joined force to produce the first drag show in the festival's history.  With over 1.4 million views, our show featured Canada Drag Race's season 1 winner, Priyanka.

Planning is underway for a bigger, bolder show in 2022.  Special thanks to the Community Foundation of Mississauga for their support in making this collaboration possible.

Drag Kings Across Canada

Drag Kings Across Canada is a production in partnership between Cyril Cinder and Drag Academy with the objective of bringing under-represented drag king talent from across the country together for a profound one-night performance. This production is a one-of-a-kind event that has never occurred in Canada before and will give an opportunity for queer, racialized, disabled, and gender diverse performance artists to come together in a celebration of their shared art form.
